Euro 2024 Group F teams

Georgia

Georgia took the long road on their way to their first-ever major football tournament. They had to go through the qualifying play-offs after finishing fourth in Group A behind Spain, Scotland, and Norway.

They were given a second chance because of their performances in the UEFA Nations League. Georgia were placed in Path C, where they faced Luxembourg in the semi-finals.

They recorded a 2-0 win in that contest to arrange a final showdown with Greece in Tbilisi.

That match went into penalties after both teams failed to score in regulation and extra time. Georgia held their nerve in the shootout, beating Greece 4-2 to advance to Euro 2024 and send their home fans into a frenzy.

Portugal

Portugal booked their place in Euro 2024 with ease, winning all of their matches in the qualifying round to finish top of Group J.

They finished with 30 points after recording 10 wins in the group stage. Cristiano Ronaldo led the way for Portugal in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, scoring 10 goals.

Euro 2024 will be Portugal's ninth appearance in the European Championship. Their best finish in the tournament came in 2016 when they won the title.

Turkey

Turkey qualified for Euro 2024 after finishing first in Group D. They recorded five wins and two draws in the group stage to finish with 17 points.

Euro 2024 will be their sixth appearance in the European Championship. Their best finish in the tournament came in 2008 when they reached the semi-finals.

Czechia

Czechia secured a spot in Euro 2024 after finishing second in Group E. They recorded four wins, three draws and one loss in the group stage to finish with 15 points.

Euro 2024 will be their 11th appearance in the European Championship (including Czechoslovakia's previous stints in the Euros). Their best finish in the tournament came in 1976 when Czechoslovakia lifted the trophy.
