Former Senegal forward, Diomansy Kamara believes Nicolas Jackson will come good for Chelsea despite his early struggles at the club.

The former Fulham and Portsmouth star compared his start to life in England with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr, who had a similar experience.

Jackson has come under intense pressure from Chelsea fans for being wasteful in front of goal, with the latest being in the 5-0 mauling against Arsenal.

Kamara, who spent seven years in England, has called for patience for the striker, who has already notched 10 Premier League goals this season.

“As we have said, he is a young man who is 22 years old. He is still in training. He needs to improve. We know that he was fishing in the finish. He still scored 10 goals in the league this season, 14 in total, 4 to 5 assists. For a first season, I think it's not bad, but he's a young player,” said Kamara, as quoted by 13 Football.
"We remember the case of Vinicius. When he had just arrived at Real Madrid, he missed a lot of chances, and everyone fell on him. And over time, he corrected his situation. The most important thing, I think, is that you have to create these situations. And then you'll have to readjust the sights. Even if we would have liked him to obviously score yesterday (last Saturday) against City," he added.

Jackson joined Chelsea last summer from Spanish club Villareal and has already made 29 Premier League appearances, scoring ten goals, per Transfermarkt.

Jackson unleashes new hairstyle

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Nicolas Jackson sparked social media buzz with a fresh haircut ahead of Chelsea's Premier League match against Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

Following differing outcomes in their latest Premier League matches, the Lions and the Blues prepare to face off once again at Villa Park.

Aston Villa staged a comeback to secure a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth last weekend, whereas Chelsea suffered a 5-0 defeat against London rivals Arsenal on Tuesday.
