Projected top pick, Victor Wembanyama got a dose of his own medicine on Thursday as he ended up on the receiving end of a poster dunk in France’s FIBA World Cup qualifier.

Wembanyama had the last laugh as France mounted a huge comeback to steal the win.

Wembanyama dominates in France's win

The Frenchmen battled back from a 19-point deficit in the second quarter to record an impressive 72-59 win over the Czechs.

Wembanyama starred in his country's win. He registered yet another double-double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 17 rebounds against the Czech Republic.

He was a menace on the defensive end, finishing with six blocks and four steals in the victory, per USA Today.

This was Wembanyama’s best game thus far in the tournament. He recorded 20 points and nine rebounds in his French National Team debut against Lithuania and then dropped 19 points over Bosnia and Herzegovina before his explosion against the Czech Republic.

He currently plays for the Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 in the LNB Pro A league, averaging 22.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game this season.

Wembanyama approves alien tag

Sports Brief recently reported on Wembanyama responding to LeBron's claim that he is an alien and not a unicorn.

The French center, touted as the most significant NBA draft prospect since James, loved the Los Angeles Lakers star’s words.

Wembanyama said he liked being called an alien because that is what he is working to be - something unique and original.
