Issahaku, who is on loan from Sporting Lisbon, has been immense for the former Premier League champions, scoring six goals and providing 12 assists in the English Championship, per Transfermarkt.

However, it was his hat-trick on Tuesday against Southampton that proved crucial for the King Power outfit.

Having raced to an early season lead, Leicester fumbled along the way, seeing their 11-point gap before the turn of the year drop to only one point.

Issahaku and his teammates had to quickly recover, with the 20-year-old coming to the party at the key moments. His assist against West Brom for Vardy's winner and his inspiring display against the Saints were the game changer for Leicester.

As it stands, Leicester will have to make a decision on the AFCON U20 winner following his impressive campaign in England.

Per the agreement between Sporting and Leicester, the English outfit have the option of signing the Issahaku after making 60% of appearances in the league.
