Former Super Eagles Striker Emmanuel Emenike Raises Alarm From Hospital Bed Over Undisclosed Illness

Former Nigerian international Emmanuel Emenike has shared a clip showing himself writhing in pain on the hospital bed, saying “the pain is too much.”

The AFCON 2013 highest goalscorer captured his wrist in the clip as a cannula is fitted into it as he continues to take treatment.

Although the 34-year-old did not disclose the ailment, his words however send shivers down the spines of his Instagram followers when he said he “cannot carry it anymore.”

The former Super Eagles forward has been exciting on social media in recent times updating his followers about his lifestyle, businesses and properties.

However, in the wee hours of Wednesday, April 13, the striker was seen in the hospital as he captioned the footage and later deleted it:

“God is good. The pain is too much for me and my heart cannot carry it anymore.”

And thousands of his fans have continued to wish him well, while some of his teammates and ex-internationals have also reacted to the post.

Superstar Kanu Nwankwo wrote along with two prayer emojis:

“Get well my brother. God is with you.”

Former Super Eagles number one shot-stopper Vincent Enyeama added:

“Be strong boss. Get well soon boss.”

Ogenyi Onazi said:

“Get well soon kral”

Another fan added:

“Bro Ogini dey happen with you? Biko get well you are covered with the blood of almighty Jesus Christ.”

Emenike builds borehole for Imo community

Only recently, Emenike who promised to assist communities back home completed a new borehole project somewhere suspected to be in Imo state.

He has continued to invest in properties as well as businesses in Lagos and Owerri where he lives in a posh mansion.

In a clip he shared on his Instagram story, some elders were heard praying for the former Super Eagles striker for what he had just done.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has continued to give back to the society as the 29-year-old splashed millions on the construction of an international school in Buruku, Jos.

The Fatih Karagumruk forward will stop at nothing in helping those who are in need, but the construction of a modern school in Jos is something special.

In a clip shared by the former CSKA Moskow star, the educational facility is seated on a two-storey building with adjoining blocks of classrooms.
