Former Nigerian international Emmanuel Emenike who promised to assist communities back home has completed a new borehole project somewhere suspected to be in Imo state.
The 34-year-old has continued to invest in properties as well as businesses in Lagos and Owerri where he lives in a posh mansion.
In a clip he shared on his Instagram story, some elders were heard praying for the former Super Eagles striker for what he had just done.
Speaking in Igbo dialect, one of the residents prayed for God’s blessings on the superstar who bagged the AFCON 2013 highest goal scorer’s award.

At some point, some members of the community were allowed to open the taps as water gushed out to their delight.
Nigerian outlet Vanguard are reporting that most, if not all the metropolitan cities, including the state capital cities, in the South-East have no safe drinking water.
It was gathered that the situation in the rural communities is even worse as some residents only depend on local community streams.
Reports of water situation in some remote rural areas in the zone are very pathetic. Water is very scarce in the South-East and expensive too. This has inflicted more hardship on the people of the zone.
Emenike shows of lavish living room

Emenike, in 2019, launched his beautiful and expansive mansion in Owerri, the Imo State capital, where guests could not help but swoon on the masterpiece.
In a new social media footage, former player showed off one of his spoils, a lavish living room in his duplex.
Clad in shorts and sleeves shirt, Emenike was captured relaxing on the couch as the camera captured the crispy marble floor as well as the wall designs which were all in gold.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Super Eagles legends Kanu Nwankwo, Taribo West, Daniel Amokachi as well as Emmanuel Emenike were in action in a charity game where they won the title to celebrate the 50th birthday of Comedian AY.
Ayo Makun famously called AY Comedian clocked 50 on August 19 and the entertainer has continued to celebrate with his friends.
Playing alongside the superstars, AY was seen in a jubilant mood as he received the gold medal having placed it round his neck with so much delight.
