According to Ghana Soccernet, the Premier League outfit are preparing a £5 million move for the 29-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.

Thomas Frank's side have struggled for a permanent left-back following the injury to Rico Henry while Sergio Reguilon's loan deal expires this summer.

The Bees are currently battling for survival but the manager is already looking at reinforcements for next season with the Ghanaian high on the list.

Meanwhile, Rahman is enjoying one of his best campaigns in Europe, having netted four goals and provided two assists for PAOK this season, per Transfermarkt.

He was on target as PAOK staged a remarkable comeback to eliminate Dinamo Zagreb to reach the quarter-final of the Europa Conference, where they will face Club Brugge.

Rahman reacts after collapse in Greek Cup

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian defender, Baba Abdul Rahman, opened up on his horrific experience after collapsing during the Greek Cup semi-final between PAOK and Panathinaikos.

The Black Stars left-back fell unconscious after clashing in the air with a Panathinaikos player during the game last month.

The medics arrived on time to treat the defender as he regained consciousness. He was later rushed to the hospital for further treatment.

Rahman explains Black Stars' decision

Sports Brief also reported that Ghanaian defender, Baba Abdul Rahman explained his decision to reject an invite for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The former Chelsea left-back was initially named in the 55-man provisional squad by former coach Chris Hughton before he was omitted from the team that travelled to Ivory Coast.

He has since not returned to the national team despite returning to top form.
