According to the former Chelsea player, it was a tough night, and discloses that there was no major damage after the fall.

"Hello, just wanted to thank everyone for their concern and well wishes in the last 12 or so hours. Thankfully I’m recovering well and scans have shown no major damage. I’d like to also say a big thank you to Georgios Vagiannidis for personally checking in on me at the hospital. It was a tough night but I’d be back running up and down again soon," he wrote on social media.

Meanwhile, in a thrilling encounter, Panathinaikos fought back to force the game into penalties, winning 7-6 from the spot, as reported by Greek City Times.

Rahman could return to action for ROAK in their match on Sunday against Panetolikos.

Rahman collapses during Greek Cup match

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman suffered a concussion during the Greek Cup semi-final game between PAOK and Panathinaikos.

The defender fell unconscious after an aerial challenge with a Panathinaikos player, but the medical team arrived on time to revive the player.

Rahman regained consciousness a few minutes later as the game was forced to penalties with the home side going through to the final.

Rahman's clash with Antony goes viral

Sports Brief also reported that Black Stars left-back, Baba Rahman became the talking point on social media after his magnificent moment with Manchester United's Antony, during the FA Cup game against Reading.

Antony, known for his wizardry of tricks and spins in games, came up against the Ghanaian, who was then playing for Reading, in a one-v-one situation.

As he usually does to defenders, the Brazilian, in an attempt to beat Rahman, stood for almost a minute doing his 'shake-the-body' trick, but the Ghana international cleverly defended the player from moving past him.
