Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has posted adorable video where he was spotted thanking his mother Martina for supervising his mansion in Lagos until it was completed.

The former Manchester United star is one of the richest Nigerian players who has made so much money in football most especially when he was playing in the Premier League.

Gone are the days when Odion Ighalo used to play football on the streets in Ajegunle, Lagos, his dream of playing for Manchester United eventually came true.

Odion Ighalo's mansion in Lagos has a swimming pool, sauna, football pitch and basketball court among the visible outdoor amenities.

According to the video clip the Nigerian player dropped, Odion Ighalo and his mother were both happy while walking round the mansion.

Odion Ighalo's statement to his mother

“Project supervisor, thank you my one and only supervisor. The project is ok, thank you mama you did a very good job, just see the floor. Any other supervisor is fake.''

The house, christened Ighalo Residence, is located in the suburbs of Lekki, south-east of Lagos, with the striker having lived in it since 2020 when he officially opened it.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how John Obi Mikel has hailed the quality of the present set of players in the Super Eagles team and believes a strong core of the national team can be built with the current team.
