In a video shared on social media, Diouf is seen getting fouled by the French President after putting the ball through his legs in a friendly form.

The event was a success with the former players contributing to the wellbeing of the less privileged in society.

"Two teams but the same goal: to improve the daily lives of hospitalized children and adolescents. Thanks to the players of Varietes CF who mobilize for the benefit of Pieces Jaunes. The match continues!" wrote Mr Macron on X, formerly Twitter, after the game.

Kylian Mbappe's father and former Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger were also involved in the charity game.
