Man City's Top 10 Premier League Scorers

1. Sergio Aguero (184 goals)

Aguero holds the record for most goals scored in the Premier League by a Manchester City player with 184. That's more than double the number of goals scored by the second-ranked player on the list, per 433.

He played 10 seasons with City in his illustrious career, scoring in double-figures in the league in all but one of those campaigns.

He scored 24 goals in his first season with the club, including the match-winner against Queens Park Rangers on the final day to give Manchester City their first-ever Premier League title.

2. Raheem Sterling (91 goals)

Sterling is ranked second on the list, scoring 91 league goals in his seven-season stint with Manchester City from 2015 to 2022.

He recorded a 20-goal season in the Premier League just once in his career, with Sterling achieving the feat in the 2019-20 campaign.

3. Kevin De Bruyne (68 goals)

De Bruyne is slowly closing in on Sterling's mark after he scored another goal in the win against Brighton. He netted his 68th Premier League goal in style, scoring a diving header in Manchester City's 4-0 victory.

His best season in the English top flight scoring-wise happened in the 2021-22 campaign when he found the back of the net 15 times.

4. David Silva (60 goals)

Silva is the fourth member of Man City's 60-goal club in the Premier League. He reached that milestone in the 2019-20 season when he scored six goals for City.

That also was his final season with City, with Silva opting to join Spanish side Real Sociedad afterward.

5. Yaya Toure (59 goals)

Toure just missed out on joining the 60-goal club, finding the back of the net 59 times in the Premier League during his eight-season stint with Manchester City.

He scored 20 goals in a single Premier League season just once in his career, with the Ivorian accomplishing the feat in the 2013-24 campaign.

6. Carlos Tevez (58 goals)

Tevez made a controversial switch in 2009, leaving Manchester United to join their crosstown rivals on a £47 million deal.

He spent four seasons with Manchester City and quickly established himself as one of the club's best scorers in the Premier League.

He scored 58 league goals from 2009 to 2013 before leaving the team for Juventus.

6. Gabriel Jesus (58 goals)

Jesus is tied for sixth place with Tevez, scoring 58 league goals in his six-season stint with Man City from 2017 to 2022.

The Brazilian forward's best season in the Premier League scoring-wise was the 2019-20 campaign when he scored 14 goals.

8. Erling Haaland (56 goals)

It's only a matter of time before Haaland joins Aguero in the 100-goal club. He already has scored 56 league goals, amassing that impressive total in just two seasons with City.

He remains on track to win back-to-back Premier League Golden Boot awards, holding a share of the lead with Cole Palmer in the scoring charts this season.

9. Phil Foden (51 goals)

Foden moved up to ninth place after scoring a brace against Brighton in their Premier League clash on Thursday.

The Manchester City star leapfrogged Edin Dzeko in the standings, with the Englishman netting his 50th and 51st goals in the English top flight.

He has already scored 16 goals this season, helping Manchester City in their quest to retain the league title.

10. Edin Dzeko (50 goals)

Dzeko is ranked 10th on the list, scoring 50 league goals in his five-season stint with Man City from 2011 to 2015.

The bulk of his goals came from the 2011-12 to 2013-14 seasons, with Dzeko finding the back of the net 44 times during that period.

Foden equals Messi and Haaland's record

Sports Brief recently reported on Foden's new scoring record.

He became just the third player aged 23 or younger under Pep Guardiola to reach the 50-goal milestone in the league.

He joined Lionel Messi and Haaland on the exclusive list.
