Championship club leads race to sign struggling Super Eagles attacker next summer

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Josh Maja could be on the move again when the summer transfer window opens as Birmingham City have renewed their interest in signing the Nigerian forward.

The 23-year-old attacker joined English Championship club, Stoke City on loan in January after failing to tie down a regular shirt with French Ligue 1 side, Bordeaux.

Birmingham City is leading the race to sign Maja whom they also signaled an interest in back in January before he joined Stoke City.

The Nigerian forward who has just one cap for the Super Eagles has struggled for form this season and has netted just twice in 17 games for Stoke City.
