Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, celebrated Leicester City's English Championship triumph by hitting the dance floor.

The 20-year-old midfielder and his teammates were declared champions after beating Preston North End 3-0 on Monday night at the Deepdale Stadium.

Issahaku served the assist for Kasey McAteer's goal and Leicester's third in the victory on the road.

In a video shared on social media, Issahaku is seen performing the popular indigenous Ghanaian dance Azonto as the team enjoyed their latest success.

The Foxes are making a return to the English top-flight after a season in the Championship.

Meanwhile, the King Power outfit will have to break the bank to keep Issahaku as his loan deal expires at the end of the season.

The former Ghana U20 star has been a key figure at Leicester, making a 20-goal contribution to help them secure promotion, per Transfermarkt.

The 2016 Premier League champions are expected to bolster their squad this summer with the Ghanaian set to be their first signing of the window.

Issahaku delivers assist in Leicester win

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku provided an assist as Leicester City beat Preston North End to be crowned champions of the 2023/24 English Championship.

Having confirmed their Premier League return following Leeds United's defeat to Queens Park Rangers last Friday, the Foxes needed a win to consolidate their place at the top of the table.

The former English champions wrapped up the title in style after beating Preston North End 3-0 at the Deepdale Stadium on Monday night.

Leicester fans chant Fatawu's name

Sports Brief also reported that Leicester fans cheered Fatawu Issahaku after scoring a hat-trick in the 5-0 thrashing of Southampton in the English Championship a week ago.

The 20-year-old forward led the Foxes to an emphatic win as they made a quick return to the English Premier League.

Issahaku has been the club's livewire since joining on loan from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon last summer, making his 18th goal contribution of the season in that game.
