Ghanaian winger, Osman Bukari, has added another league title to his trophy cabinet after starring in Red Star Belgrade's 2023/24 season triumph.

With four games remaining, the Serbian giants were confirmed champions after beating Backa Topola on Thursday night.

It was Bukari's second league title in his second campaign with the Reds, having already won the domestic treble with Red Star last season.

Goals from Peter Olayinka and Cherif Ndiaye were enough as Red Star continued their dominance in Serbia with their seventh straight league success, as reported by Telecom Asia.

Meanwhile, Bukari scored seven goals and delivered seven assists in 27 league games to help Red Star defend their title, per Transfermarkt.

The Ghana international has been a key figure at the Maracana since joining the club in the summer of 2022 from KAA Gent.

Bukari's performances in the UEFA Champions League saw him attract interest from clubs in the English Premier League, with Nottingham Forest linked with the forward.

During the winter transfer window, there were reports of clubs in the MLS also showing interest.

The former Accra Lions player has represented Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA World Cup.

He missed the friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda in March but is expected to return for the World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic in June.

Bukari hits 'siuu' in front of Ronaldo

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bukari performed Ronaldo's famous 'siuuu' celebration after netting on his World Cup debut for the Black Stars of Ghana in Qatar 2022.

The Red Star Belgrade forward, who was a second-half substitute, reduced the deficit as the Black Stars lost 3-2 at the Stadium 974.

In a video posted on social media, the winger - who headed home from a Baba Rahman cross - celebrated in front of his idol.
