Kai Havertz put up another flawless performance against Sheffield United if his individual highlights are anything to go by.

The 24-year-old endured a rocky start to life as an Arsenal player when the Gunners signed him for £65m from Chelsea.

His first few months with the club had fans saying he did not suit Mikel Arteta’s style of play, as he went on a six-week goal drought before netting his first goal for the club.

Arteta was among the forward’s fiercest defenders in public, insisting the Gunners had a quality player in Havertz.

In December, Arteta noted a change in the German’s form, and he attributed it to confidence and togetherness within his squad.

“A lot of the things he was doing right, he's continued to do and now obviously in front of goal, he's being very efficient," Arteta said after Havertz hit an 89th minute winner against Brentford in November, per Transfermarkt.

Weeks later, Havertz appears to have settled entirely within the Arsenal squad, and has now scored in his last three Premier League appearances.

Deployed in the classic ‘False 9’ position by Arteta, the former Bayer Leverkusen star plays with much more freedom and conviction.

He was on target with a goal and assist against the Blades, and his individual highlights summed up his current form.

Notably, Havertz is now one of five Arsenal players who have hit double figures in terms of goal contributions with his 10 goals and assists.

Bukayo Saka leads the line with 21 goal contributions and the England star is followed by Martin Odegaard (12), Gabriel Martinelli (10) and Declan Rice (10), according to TNT Sports.

What next for Havertz and Arsenal?

Havertz will be hoping to keep up his superb form during the weekend, when Arsenal host Brentford on Saturday, March 9.

This will be followed by a crunch, must win Champions League clash against FC Porto three days later.

Arsenal make history with Sheffield win

Sports Brief also reported on the milestone Arsenal achieved thanks to the win over Sheffield United.

In beating the Blades 6-0, Mikel Arteta’s side became the first team to score at least five goals in three consecutive Premier League away games.

Their first rout was against West Ham, when they recorded a similar scoreline (6-0). This was followed by a 5-0 away win at Burnley.
