(Q) - Qualified for Champions League

Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool have already secured their Champions League spots for next season, leaving only one spot open for the other contenders.

Aston Villa are the favourites to claim that final UCL spot. They hold a five-point advantage over Tottenham, with one league match remaining in Villa's schedule following their draw against Liverpool, per The Guardian.

Anything less than a victory for Spurs on Tuesday against Manchester City will be enough for Villa to capture a Champions League berth.

If Tottenham manage to win their last two league matches against Man City and Sheffield United, Villa will need to record at least a draw against Crystal Palace in their final league outing to qualify for the Champions League.

Two Europa League places are up for grabs for Premier League clubs. Those spots will go to the team that finishes fifth in the league table and the winner of the FA Cup.

If Manchester City beat crosstown rivals Manchester United in the final of the 2024 FA Cup, the sixth-placed team in the Premier League will capture the other Europa League spot, per Football365.

Newcastle and Chelsea will be cheering for Manchester City to win this year's FA Cup, as a sixth-place finish in the Premier League is a more realistic option for both clubs.

Tottenham only need one more point to secure a spot in the Europa League. With two matches remaining in their schedule, they hold a six-point lead over Newcastle and Chelsea for fifth place in the Premier League.

Europa Conference League

If Manchester United win the FA Cup title, the sixth-placed team in the Premier League will earn a place in the Europa Conference League as the Red Devils will grab the second Europa League spot.

If Manchester United also finish sixth in the league table aside from winning the FA Cup, the team behind them in seventh place will get the lone Europa Conference League spot.

Newcastle United and Chelsea are ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, with both teams having the same number of points with two matches remaining.

Manchester United are currently ranked eighth after losing to Arsenal at Old Trafford last Sunday.

Guardiola's away record vs. Spurs

Sports Brief recently reported on Pep Guardiola's away record against Tottenham.

Manchester City have not recorded a point at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Citizens have lost five times there, with Guardiola's men not finding the back of the net in any of those matches.
