Here come the Gunners.

Sports Brief looks at how the Gunners accomplished that historic feat and why their away form may be the key to them winning their first league title since 2004.

Arsenal make history with away routs

West Ham vs. Arsenal (0-6)

Arsenal started crushing opponents on the road on February 11 in their game against West Ham United. The Gunners dismantled the Hammers at the London Stadium, beating them by a score of 6-0.

William Saliba opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 32nd minute, nodding home Declan Rice's corner. The floodgates opened soon after, with the Gunners scoring three more goals before the half-time break.

Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal's lead with a 41st-minute penalty after he was fouled inside the box by West Ham goalkeeper, Alphonse Areola.

Gabriel scored Arsenal's third with a header before Leandro Trossard made it 4-0 with a superb curling effort just before the interval.

Saka and Rice completed the rout in the second half, scoring goals in a two-minute span just after the hour mark.

The 6-0 loss was the Hammers' heaviest home defeat in the Premier League.

Burnley vs. Arsenal (0-5)

The Gunners weren't done walloping their opponents on the road. They humiliated Burnley at their own home ground on February 17, beating them by a score of 5-0.

Martin Odegaard got the party started quickly at Turf Moor, opening the scoring in the fourth minute with a wonderful strike into the bottom corner.

Saka made it 2-0 just before the half-time break, converting a penalty in the 41st minute after Leandro Trossard was fouled by Lorenz Assignon inside the box.

Saka scored again two minutes after the restart, blasting his shot into the roof of the net after a clever pass from Odegaard.

Trossard made it 4-0 in the 66th minute with a curling effort before Havertz completed the rout with a strike in the 78th minute.

Sheffield United vs. Arsenal (0-6)

The Gunners continued their destructive ways on the road, crushing Sheffield United 6-0 on Monday night. It was a ruthless display from Arsenal, who scored five of their six goals in the opening half.

They stamped their class quickly, scoring three goals in the opening 15 minutes. Odegaard struck first in the fifth minute, slotting home the opener from 10 yards out.

Saka helped create Arsenal's second, with his cross being diverted into the back of the net by Sheffield United's Jayden Bogle for an own goal in the 13th minute.

Martinelli struck a couple of minutes later with a deflected effort. The goals kept on coming for Arsenal, with Havertz and Rice scoring in the 25th and 39th minutes.

Ben White completed the rout in the second half with a fine left-footed strike in the 58th minute.

The Gunners made history with that result, becoming the first English league side to record three consecutive away wins by at least a five-goal margin, per the BBC.

Arsenal's impressive away form this season

The Gunners remain within striking distance of leaders, Liverpool, in the Premier League title race thanks to their impressive away form.

They lead the league in points scored on the road this season. They have racked up 29 points from 14 away matches, recording nine wins, two draws, and three losses, per Soccerstats.

Arteta sets points target for Arsenal players

Sports Brief recently reported on Arteta setting a points target for his players in the title race.

The Arsenal boss believes anything under 90 points would not get the job done this season.

They are currently third in the league table with 61 points and 11 matches still remaining.
