Arsenal and Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey will soon be a father after his partner, Janine Mackson, announced that they are expecting their first child together.

The midfielder and Ms Mackson have been dating for some time now despite not making their relationship public.

Partey looks ready for the next chapter of his life as he awaits the birth of his child with the model.

"New beginning," the London-based model posted on Instagram, announcing her pregnancy with photos of herself, the baby bump and the Ghana international.

An excited Partey responded: "God did."

The 30-year-old former Atletico Madrid star is currently nursing an injury that has kept him out since August 26, 2023. He is expected to return to action in a couple of week's time as Arsenal eyes the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years.

Partey has been a key figure at the London club, playing a significant role as the Gunners finished second last season.

He joined the English giants in the summer of 2020 from Spanish club Atletico Madrid, as reported by SkySports.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Former England striker, Gabriel Agbonlahor wants Arsenal to let midfielder Thomas Partey leave over his 'inconsistency' at the London club.

Partey is currently out due to an injury which has kept him on the sidelines since the game against Fulham on August 26, 2023.

Agbonlahor lamented over the midfielder's unavailability and feels the Gunners are not benefitting from his continuous stay at the club.
