  • Harry Kane appears to be at a crossroads over his club for next season
  • Bayern Munich have concrete interest and made an offer to Tottenham
  • The North London club are trying to sign him to a new contract

Yaya Toure has issued transfer advice to Harry Kane as the Tottenham striker goes through the motions about his club for next season as Bayern Munich's interest intensifies.

Kane has a contract till 2024 but could explore his options elsewhere as he hopes to rid his career of the stigma of having never won a trophy.

Multiple reports in the English media claimed Bayern Munich had an opening bid of €70m rejected, and Sports Brief reported that club chairman Daniel Levy is not willing to entertain offers with the hope he can convince him to extend his contract.

The Guardian yesterday reported that Levy took the first step to convince the club’s record goalscorer by offering him a new lengthy contract that will significantly improve his £200,000 per week salary.

Yaya Toure advises Kane

Sports Brief reported that the Bavarians are ready to make an improved second offer for the 29-year-old, with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel pushing to have Kane lead his line next season.

Amidst the transfer scuffle, former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has hailed the Three Lions striker as a brilliant and incredible player and told him to remain at North London to cement his legacy.

''Harry Kane is a brilliant player and leader. For me, I hope he is going to stay at Tottenham,” Toure told PA News Agency via Sportskeeda. “What he did last season was incredible. I hope he is going to stay… He came from the academy, he is different.
“He is not like Aguero, who came in from Atletico, he is at home. I hope he is going to stay because he is a good player. Why not retire there, like Maldini or Gerrard did at Liverpool? If he does that it’s going to be very significant.”

Kane joined the Spurs academy having spent a year at the Arsenal academy. Sports Brief noted that he was devastated to be released after a year and offered to be a goalkeeper to remain at Hale End.

Kane’s four potential destinations

Sports Brief analysed Harry Kane’s four potential destinations, including Bayern Munich, who have shown serious interest and staying at Tottenham to work with new boss Ange Postecoglu.

Real Madrid and Manchester United are destinations, and both have deemed him too expensive due to Spurs’s reluctance to sell and the asking price.

However, a free transfer to Chelsea next summer to link up with former boss Mauricio Pochettino could be on the cards after Kane started constructing a new home close to Stamford Bridge.
