Eden Hazard's stats in 2018-19 EPL season

Hazard will go down in history as one of the best players Chelsea has ever had.

During his stay there, he helped the club win six trophies, including two Premier League titles, two Europa League crowns, one FA Cup title, and one League Cup title.

His greatest individual season with Chelsea came in the 2018-19 campaign.

The Belgian had 31 goal involvements in the league for the Blues that season, recording 16 goals and 15 assists in 37 matches played.

He got off to a hot start that season, scoring seven goals in his first eight league matches, including a hat-trick against Cardiff on September 15, 2018.

He also recorded braces against Watford, Huddersfield, and West Ham United, per TransferMarkt.

Hazard wasn't just a scorer, as he also created lots of goals for the Blues that season. He had a couple of two-assist games for Chelsea in the 2018-19 campaign, accomplishing that feat in the wins over Manchester City and Watford.

Cole Palmer's incredible 2023-24 season

Palmer has exceeded expectations in his first season with Chelsea, posting numbers that are even better than Hazard's best individual season with the Blues.

He now has 32 goal contributions for the Stamford Bridge residents in the Premier League this season, beating Hazard's tally in the 2018-19 campaign.

He managed to achieve that feat despite playing five fewer league matches than Hazard. He has played just 32 matches for the Blues in the English top flight as he started the season with Manchester City.

Palmer wasted no time putting up monster numbers for Chelsea in the Premier League, stretching his goal tally this season to 22 after scoring the opener in the Blues' 2-1 win over Brighton on Wednesday, per Eurosport.

He has been on fire of late, scoring 12 goals in his last 10 league matches. He has been unstoppable at Stamford Bridge, scoring 11 goals in his last six league outings there.

Palmer has also proven this season that he can create goals for his teammates. He already has 10 assists in the league this campaign.

He is just the third English player in Premier League history to record at least 20 goals and 10 assists in a single season.
