Erik ten Hag needed no time and excuses to end Manchester United's trophy drought in his first season at the club.
He guided the team to beat Newcastle United 2-0 in the final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
First-half goals from summer signing, Casemiro and in-form star, Marcus Rashford were enough to secure the first trophy of the ten Hag era and the club's first since the 2017 UEFA Europa League under Jose Mourinho.
The Dutch manager has Man United playing good football and they are now a team to be reckoned with. They are still in the running for three more trophies after their Carabao Cup triumph.

Young United fan predicts win
It was a day to revel in for Man United fans, as they trooped into the capital in their numbers to claim one of 33,000 allotted tickets of the 90,000 capacity of the Wembley Stadium, as reported by National World.
A young fan was seen hanging the winner's medal around his neck as fans were making their way into the stadium ahead of the match, as spotted by Football Daily.
''I am a time traveller. I can go into the future. Everyone's going to have [medals] later except the Newcastle players,'' he said.
The young boy's confidence delighted the fans before the game, while some rival fans hoped he was wrong. His prediction turned out to be spot-on.
Ten Hag forgets Carabao trophy
Sports Brief earlier reported on Man United boss, ten Hag forgetting the trophy in the press room after finishing his post-match duties.
After being called back, the Dutch manager he joked he could leave the cup behind as the club would be adding another one shortly.
Man United are still in the Europa League, FA Cup, and Premier League title races, with fans confident the team can do a quadruple.
