The Red Devils face a tricky test against FC Barcelona later tonight in the playoff of the Europa League, with the first leg ending 2-2 at Camp Nou.

“You can hear it in the stands that the fans feel a connection with this team, and the feeling is mutual, We're all on a journey together, moving forward game-by-game and we need the fans as well as the players to be at the top of their game if we are to create a memorable night at Old Trafford,” he said.
“For me, the next game is always the biggest game. I'm not the type that's looking back, I'm looking forward. So I'm totally excited. Two big, great teams facing each other at Old Trafford, it will be a massive atmosphere, a great ambience. I think it's the best you can get.” he added.

Immediately after the game against Barcelona, Ten Hag can lead the team to their first trophy since Jose Mourinho won the Europa League in 2017, with 5he Carabao Cup final against Newcastle.

Ten Hag sends message to Sancho

Manchester United invested £73m in English winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, but he is yet to hit the ground running despite turning up under four different managers.

Ten Hag sent him on a three-month special recovery programme to build up his physical and mental fitness, and he recently returned to the club.

Sports Brief reported that the Dutch manager warned Sancho not to relent so as not to slow down his process and promised him support from the managerial crew.
