Ahead of his maiden competitive bow for the German club, the Ivorian marksman has revealed the boots he will be sporting.

For this special occasion, he has picked out a special pair of boots with a very personal message, per Benchwarmers.

According to the Sun, Haller, who wears Puma Ultra Ultimate soccer cleats, will step onto the field with his bright orange Ultra Ultimates having the inscription "F*ck Cancer."

Haller returns to training

Sebastien Haller has started training as he begins the process of his comeback to football, following months of being on the sidelines due to cancer.

The Borussia Dortmund star was diagnosed with testicular cancer three months ago, forcing him to put his career on hold.

However, the Ivorian forward has returned to Holland to continue his rehabilitation as he trains with Ajax Amsterdam.

Seb Haller diagnosed with cancer

Sports Brief earlier reported that Sébastien Haller and Borussia Dortmund have suffered a major blow ahead of the new season.

The Bundesliga side will be without their new striker, Haller, after the player was ruled out for an indefinite period.

The Ivory Coast international travelled back to Germany from Switzerland to undergo medical tests after he reported that he was feeling unwell. It was then discovered that he had a testicular tumour. He will now undergo further tests at a specialised medical centre.
