  • Juventus will be looking to sell midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer after he was left out of the squad heading to the United States for preseason
  • Ramsey is entering the final year of his contract and the club will be keen to offload him for a fee rather than lose him for free
  • Massimiliano Allegri is not interested in using the midfielder who was sent out on loan to Rangers last season

Aaron Ramsey's time at Juventus appears to be over after the club left him out of its preseason squad. Juventus are planning to visit the United States as they prepare to launch a Serie A title campaign in the upcoming season.

Head coach Massimiliano Allegri has appeared to send the strongest indication to Ramsey that he won't be part of his squad.

Goal now reports that the Old Lady will be looking to sell the Wales international this summer or lose him for free next summer as he enters the final year of his contract. Ramsey fell out of Allegri's favour last season as he was shipped to Rangers on loan.

He joined the Serie A giants in 2019 on a free transfer from Arsenal. He has since made over 60 appearances with constant injuries preventing him from realising his full potential in the black and white striped shirt.

Adrien Rabiot has also been left out of Juventus' tour due to personal reasons. Juventus haven't won the Serie A title in two years after previously winning it for 9 consecutive seasons.

Juventus is interested in signing Chelsea flop Timo Werner

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Chelsea forward Timo Werner has been linked with a sensational summer move to Juventus. The Italian giants have been active in the ongoing window, with the club adding Paul Pogba, Angel Di Maria, and Gleison Bremer.

However, Juvefc.com reports that the Old Lady could now shift their focus to strengthening other areas of the team, with the striking department a top priority. It is understood that Juve's decision to part ways with Alvaro Morata has increased the need for the club to sign a prolific striker.
