Ghanaian-born Belgium youth star, Francis Amuzu was stunned after his Anderlecht teammates gave him a standing ovation following his hat-trick heroics.

The 22-year-old bagged a hat-trick as the Purple and White thumped Royal Antwerp to get their first win of the Championship play-offs.

In a stunning video posted on Social Media by Anderlecht, players of Anderlecht celebrated the youngster as he walked into the dressing room.

Francis Amuzu, who was born in Accra before moving to Belgium at a young age, opened the scoring after ten minutes to give Anderlecht the lead.

Joshua Zirkzee doubled the lead after the break before the 22-year-old netted a second-half brace to complete his hat-trick.

The three goals increases his tally for the season to eight goals in 34 matches in the Belgium pro-league.

The Ghana Football Association are interested in convincing Francis Amuzu to commit his international future with the Black Stars of Ghana.

Amuzu left Ghana for Belgium at a young age and has represented the European country at youth levels.

However, he is still eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana because of his parental lineage.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana international Osman Bukari played a vital role as Nantes claimed this season's Coupe de France on Saturday evening.

The Black Stars winger clinched his first trophy in France after Nantes recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Nice at Stade de France.

The victory means Nantes have secured their fourth Coupe de France crown and their first major trophy since 2000.
