The National Association For Stock Car Racing (NASCAR) is one of America's most popular motor competitions. It is divided into several categories, all of them with multiple teams. Today we go into detail about the current NASCAR teams.

All the teams are based on key engine manufacturing partners. The three main manufacturers are Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota.

How do NASCAR teams work?

NASCAR teams are allowed a maximum of four drivers in a season. Some teams, like Floyd Mayweather's Money Team Racing, only participate on a part-time basis. They often chose one car manufacturer though some mix manufacturers. For example, Reaume Brothers benefits from Ford and Toyota NASCAR teams.

How do NASCAR teams make money?

NASCAR teams and drivers rely heavily on sponsorships. Other sources of income include advertising and TV revenue, as well as prize money.
