Adebayor silences Old Trafford

Back to Adebayor, the Togolese striker scored in the 85th minute to hand Arsenal their first win away at Man United since 2002.

Cesc Fabregas caught Ronaldo in possession before setting up the former Monaco star with a beautiful pass. Adebayor comfortably slotted past debutant goalkeeper, Tomasz Kuszczak.

The Red Devils side has the likes of Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Paul Scholes. Arsene Wenger's side won the reverse fixtur 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

That season, United won the first of their three straight league titles, while Arsenal finished third. Defending champions, Chelsea, finished second.
