It's therefore only natural that many fans will want to meet the man they call Bones.

While fans flock to get Jones' signature, not everyone is crazy enough to ask the UFC star to choke them out. But that's exactly what one fan did, Give Me Sport reported.

The young man wanted to know how dangerous a rear naked choke actually was, asking the superstar to perform the hold on him.

In a video shared via Twitter, Bones can be seen putting the fan to sleep within seconds.

Once he passes out, Jones lays him flat on the ground before lifting his legs up to get the blood flowing back to his head.

Jones will be hoping that he can finish Ciryl Gane in record time, when the two meet in March for the vacant heavyweight title.

The belt became vacant after Francis Ngannou was stripped of the title and released by the UFC earlier this month.

Jones to take on Gane

Jon 'Bones' Jones will make his long-awaited return to the UFC in March, Sports Brief has reported.

Bones will compete at UFC 285, where he will fight for the heavyweight title vacated by Ngannou earlier this month.

The 35-year-old former light heavyweight champion last fought in December 2020, in a title defence against Dominik Reyes.

Jon Jones bulks up

Jon 'Bones' Jones is looking to dominate the UFC's heavyweight division in 2023, Sports Brief also reported.

The former light-heavyweight champion has not fought in the last three years, but is aiming to make his comeback in a big way.

The 35-year-old has been hard at work training ahead of his return to the octagon, surprising many with his physique.
