  • Spurs will be looking to stay within touching distance of the leading pack with a victory on Saturday
  • Wolves might give two new signings starting berths as they chase their first victory of the season

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte got a huge sigh of relief after his initial ban was lifted by the Football Association.

Conte was initially banned after receiving a red card for his role in the scuffle that ensued between him and Chelsea's head coach Thomas Tuchel last week. He will now just pay a fine of 15,000 euros..

Spurs, who have been touted as possible contenders for the Premier League title, were second-best against Chelsea despite grabbing a point.

Wolves, meanwhile, are without a win this season after failing to beat Leeds United and Fulham. They have appeared toothless in attack with the continued absence of Raul Jimenez.

Team News

Conte has confirmed that Christian Romero picked a muscle injury that will pave the way for Davidson Sanchez to make his first season start. Oliver Skipp remains the only other absentee.

Wolves broke the bank to secure Matheus Nunes on a club-record transfer fee from Sporting Lisbon. Goncalo Guedes could make his first start as Nelson Semedo and Adama Traore remain doubts for the fixture.

Players to watch

Ivan Perisic dazzled from the bench against Chelsea and could be in line to start on Saturday. Harry Kane had a silent game at Stamford Bridge before scoring in the last minute and will be hoping to score in back-to-back games in August.

For Wolves, eyes will be on the new signings to inject some confidence into Bruno Lage's team. Pedro Neto has also started the season brightly after missing large chunks of the last campaign due to injury.

Harry Kane snubs Heung-min Son in his perfect Spurs player set up

Sport Brief had earlier reported that Tottenham Hotspur's lead striker Harry Kane has sent some tongues wagging after he omitted his teammate Heung-min Son from his list of a perfect Spurs player.

The striker engaged in an interactive session with his fans on his social media apps where one user asked him to create a perfect Spurs player, citing one attribute for each player he would choose.

Many would have expected Son to have an automatic place in Kane's setup, given the success the two have enjoyed on the pitch since 2015. After beating Frank Lampard's and Didier Drogba's record in February, the duo holds the record for most goal combinations in Premier League history.
