  • Harry Kane chose Jermain Defoe, Kyle Walker, Moussa Dembele and Tom Huddlestone as the members of his 'perfect Spurs player'
  • The striker conspicuously left out Heung-min Son, with the duo known for their great chemistry on the pitch
  • He also preferred Tom Huddlestone's passing over Cristian Eriksen in the social media question and answer

Tottenham Hotspur's lead striker Harry Kane has sent some tongues wagging after he omitted his teammate Heung-min Son from his list of a perfect Spurs player.

The striker engaged in an interactive session with his fans on his social media apps where one user asked him to create a perfect Spurs player, citing one attribute for each player he would choose.

Many would have expected Son to have an automatic place in Kane's setup, given the success the two have enjoyed on the pitch since 2015. After beating Frank Lampard's and Didier Drogba's record in February, the duo holds the record for most goal combinations in Premier League history.

@JAGBASSI10 asked,

If you could design the perfect Spurs player from Spurs players you’ve played with, taking one attribute from each, who and what would you choose?

To which Kane picked Jermain Defoe because of his finishing, Kyle Walker because of his electric pace and Moussa Dembele, who was an excellent dribbler.

Kane's setup also had, rather weirdly, Tom Huddlestone, who was selected because of his pace over Cristian Eriksen.

@Niklas Hentze was amused at Huddlestone's choice.

Why not Eriksen for passing? How many assists did he make for you compared to that Huddlestone dude?

Kane has shared the dressing room with many great players in North London. He was conducting the Q/A to mark his 10th year in the Premier League.

Harry Kane names John Terry as the toughest defender he has ever faced

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Harry Kane named Chelsea legend John Terry the toughest defender he has ever come up against in his stellar career.

The England captain took to Twitter on Thursday, August 18, to engage in a Q and a session with his fans and in the process, revealed some interesting details about himself and his career.

His session was in celebration of 10 years since he made his Premier League debut. Kane also named England's nemesis Giorgio Chiellini as another defender who has given him serious problems.
