  • Conte will require some assurances over the club's plan to spend in the transfer market to improve the current squad
  • PSG are said to be thinking of firing Mauricio Pochettino after continued boos on the pitch toward the former Spurs manager
  • The end of the season meeting will also include football director Fabio Paratici who was influential in convincing Conte to take Spur's job

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte is set for crunch talks over his future with club owner Daniel Levy at the end of the season.

It has been reported that Conte has offered himself to Paris Saint Germain to take over the embattled Mauricio Pochettino. It is understood that the PSG hierarchy are ready to fire Pochettino and hire a new manager.

Pochettino has been under fire from the Parisians after yet another failure in the Champions League despite having a star-studded squad. It was widely expected that they would make a charge for the title, but they exited in the round of 16 at the hands of Real Madrid.

Meeting to include Paratici

Conte is now understood to have offered himself for the hot seat at the Parc Des Princes. His end of the season meeting with Levy will also include Spurs' director of football Fabricio Paratici.

Conte has been critical of Tottenham's structures and as Football London reports, he will be keen on some assurances on how he can overhaul the squad. He has already let go of Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso. The Italian manager at the same time has brought in Rodrigo Bentacur and Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus, who have slotted right into his team.

The 52-year-old will definitely be excited about the prospect of managing PSG. The Qatari owners don't have any reservations when it comes to spending.

Tottenham are currently embroiled in a fourth-place battle with their London rivals, Arsenal. They face each other in a big clash on May 12 as the race to qualify for next season's Champions League, intensifies.

Transfer budget key for Conte

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Conte could be tempted to move away should Daniel Levy insist on running the club with his restrained budget. Conte only took over in the middle of the season from Nuno Espirito Santo, who was shown the door after poor results.
