Pitso Mosimane is in hot water after the legendary South African coach was sued for millions by his former domestic worker following a severe injury sustained while on duty.

Dorothy Sikirivao has filed a lawsuit in the Johannesburg High Court, demanding redress after the Abha coach and his wife, Moira Tlhagale initially paid her medical bills and then stopped without providing a reason.

According to Sunday World, Sikirivao experienced a serious fall while clearing debris from Mosimane's home, leading to catastrophic spine-related injuries.

Following the injury, the couple took the domestic worker to a hospital for basic care before consulting with various orthopaedic and spine specialists.

Sikirivao was diagnosed with a number of injuries as a result of the accident, including a crack in the skull, blood clots in the brain, shoulder dislocation, upper backbone fracture, mid-backbone fracture, lower backbone fracture, spinal cord pressure, hip dislocation, right leg dislocation, and other injuries.

How much is Mosimane being sued?

Sikirivao and her lawyers are demanding up to R5.7 million as compensation from Mosimane and his wife following the freak accident suffered by the domestic worker which has left her unable to work, Pulse Sports reports.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach is being asked to pay R1.7 million for loss of income, R2 million for past and future medical expenses, and R2 million divided equally for the loss of amenities of life and for pain and suffering.

Sikirivao’s lawyers claim they had written to Mosimane and his wife and asked them to offer a settlement proposal for consideration, but they ignored it.

Mosimane’s Abha faces relegation threat

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Yannick Carrasco ran riot as Al-Shabab thrashed Abha Club 5-0 in the Saudi Pro League, as Mosimane's side continued to struggle.

After losing 8-0 to Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr earlier in April, the league's minnows defeated Al Fateh 2-1 to move above the relegation zone.

However, relegation concerns have returned following Abha Club's 5-0 defeat by Al-Shabab on Thursday night, April 18.
