Exactly a week after Ghana was eliminated from AFCON 2021, defender Alexander Djiku continues to gain attention despite posting an image unrelated to football.

The Black Stars defender posted a new image of himself dripping in a jean top and down, as he posed like a model for fresh new photos.

His post got many of his fans showering him with adulations while some referred him to his top-notch performances at AFCON.

Despite a very poor Africa Cup of Nations performance from the Black Stars, Djiku was one of the few positives in the team.

Alexander Djiku and Kofi Kyereh win hearts of Ghanaians

Earlier, SportsBrief.com reported that, despite Ghana's shambolic performance at the Africa Cup of Nations, Daniel Kofi-Kyereh and Alexander Djiku have received positive reviews for giving their hearts out at the tournament.

The Black Stars' disastrous AFCON campaign came to an end after defeat to the Comoros Island in their final group C game on Tuesday night in Garoua.

However, supporters of the Black Stars took to social media to applaud the duo, who grew up in Europe.

Alexander Djiku apologizes to Ghanaians after early AFCON exit

Alexander Djiku, one of Ghana's shining lights at the Africa Cup of Nations, has apologized to Ghanaians for the team's shambolic display at the tournament in Cameroon.

The Black Stars were booted out of the Nations Cup at the group stages following a 3-2 defeat to debutants Comoros Island on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

The Strasbourg defender, who was on target in the game, took to Twitter to ask Ghanaians for forgiveness and adds the team will work hard to qualify for the World Cup.
