AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has sent out a heart-warming message to the world in this Christmas season, as the world bubbles for the holiday season regardless of the many challenges people currently face.

Mourinho, who is currently in the Italian capital of Rome with his family, and also preparing his Roma team ahead of the second phase of the Serie A season next year after the World Cup forced break.

The Special One acknowledged this time around the world as a difficult time for many people due to wars particularly the Russia-Ukraine war and the COVID-19 pandemic still raging in some parts of the world.

Message from Jose Mourinho

The former Real Madrid manager took to his Instagram account to issue the heart-warming message to the world, particularly his followers who would see the message first.

''In these difficult times for so many people, with diseases, wars, poverty, and loneliness in the world, it is with a feeling of sadness but also of HOPE that I wish you all a Merry Christmas❤️'' he wrote.

The surroundings of Mourinho will have a special feeling to it as Rome houses the holy Vatican City, the residence of the Pope as well as beautiful arts and architectural designs.

Jose was also videoed giving his jacket to a kid at the conclusion of Roma's training camp in his home country of Portugal.

Havertz donates to children's hospital

Still in the spirit of yuletide and sharing love, Sports Brief earlier reported that Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz visited the children's ward of St. Mary's Hospital in London to donate gifts in celebration of Christmas.

The German alongside his partner Sophie Weber teamed up with Imperial Charity and donated items from the Chelsea store and jerseys to children at the hospital, who warmly received the 23 year old with smiles.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man has shaken off the disappointment of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup with Germany. He is now focused on Chelsea and pledged to give his all.
