France national team manager, Didier Deschamps is still reeling from Karim Benzema’s latest injury setback which has forced the Real Madrid attacker to miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Benzema was widely expected to lead France’s attack alongside Kylian Mbappe at the World Cup but a thigh injury means the forward will now miss three weeks of action.

According to The Athletic, France manager, Didier Deschamps has now confirmed they will not call up a replacement for Karim Benzema as he believes in his current squad.
