  • La Liga champions Real Madrid are not interested in keeping youngster Juanmi Latasa in their first team squad
  • The Real Madrid Castilla striker has been offered to Madrid rivals Getafe in the summer transfer window ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season
  • The 23-year-old would become the second striker to join Getafe this season after Borja Mayoral signed for the La Liga club for around ten million euros

Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid are currently in negotiations with Madrid-based club Getafe over the transfer of Juanmi Latasa.

The Real Madrid youth player has no place in Carlo Ancelotti's team and is looking to join the La Liga club for the upcoming season.

Latasa, who has contract with Madrid until 2024, was hoping to play as second fiddle to Karim Benzema, but he wasn't even considered by Ancelotti during the preseason.

That seems to be Getafe, where he will meet former teammate Borja Mayoral.

Ancelotti believes in the first-team players he has right now, and the 21-year-old will not leapfrog any of the established strikers if he decides to stay.

However, his departure will further trim down Real Madrid's options in attack, following the departure of Takefusa Kubo, Luka Jovic, Gareth Bale, and Mayoral.

Real Madrid Looking to Hijack Atletico Madrid’s Deal for Bayer Leverkusen Youngster Iker Bravo

Real Madrid aren't looking to bring in more players this transfer window but are considering buying promising players for the future.

Los Blancos have thus far signed Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antonio Rudiger in what has been a relatively quiet transfer window.

Now the La Liga champions have been linked with a move for 17-year-old Iker Bravo, Madrid Universal reported. Bravo, who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen, is considered a diamond in the rough.

Karim Benzema Against the Idea of La Liga Champions Real Madrid Signing Cristiano Ronaldo Once Again

Sports Brief earlier reported that Real Madrid are in need of a new striker, but Karim Benzema knows who Los Blancos shouldn’t bring in.

The French striker has been expertly leading the line for the Spanish champions, but Madrid have struggled for goals when their talisman striker hasn’t played.

As reported by The Real Champs, Madrid are selling some of their other strikers and looking to bring in a reliable goal-getter who can deputize for Benzema.
