Hiba Abouk: Achraf Hakimi’s Wife Sides With Victims After Husband Charged With Sexual Assault

Achraf Hakimi's wife, Hiba Abouk, has broken her silence on the sexual assault charges slapped on the Paris Saint-Germain superstar.
The 36-year-old actress used the photo-sharing App, Instagram, to inform her 1.7 million followers that she and her spouse had ended their relationship.

Hakimi was charged with assault in February after the police approached the prosecutors. The woman sought assistance from the police since she did not want to file a complaint.
Via his legal counsel, the PSG defender has refuted the accusations and has kept playing for the French side and Morocco, per the Sun.

But breaking her silence on the issue, Hiba revealed that her separation from Hakimi took place before the claimed assault. Additionally, she no longer lives with Hakimi, and they are going through a divorce.
“It goes without saying that I have always been and will always be on the side of the victims. Therefore, given the seriousness of the accusations, we can only trust in the good work of justice,” she wrote, as quoted by GOAL.
Alves begs his wife not to depart
In a separate report, ex-Barcelona defender Dani Alves is apparently now working to rescue his marriage in addition to the challenge of demonstrating he is not accountable for the sexual assault charges slapped on him.
The Barcelona legend was arrested and detained in prison without bail after being accused of assaulting a lady at a Barcelona nightclub last year December.
After the former Paris Saint-Germain defender reportedly admitted that he agreed to make love with his accuser, having initially denied knowing her, Alves' wife, Joanna Sanz, reportedly filed for divorce.
Hakimi under investigations
Sports Brief earlier reported that Achraf Hakimi, a Moroccan football player for Paris Saint-Germain, is in trouble after reportedly inviting a woman to his house while his wife and sons were on vacation.
According to the reports, his 'guest' reported the Atlas Lions player to police for allegedly forcing himself on her at his residence in the French capital.
Prosecutors are currently looking into her claims.
