Arsenal star Matt Turner had a unique way of announcing the gender of his unborn baby on Monday, March 27.

The goalie featured for the USA men’s team as they beat El Salvador 1-0 in Orlando and at full time, he had an on-pitch gender reveal.

In a delightful video doing rounds on social media, Turner is seen kicking a ball filled with pink smoke in the air to reveal he is expecting a baby girl with his wife.

The couple already share a son, who will turn one in July.

For Turner, it was a special gender reveal as it came while he was doing what he loves, football. The presence of his teammates and family also did not hurt the occasion.

Speaking after finding out he would be having a baby girl, Turner said as quoted on GOAL.com:

"It's like an excitement kind of nervous. You just want to know because I just I just like knowing! It's a good feeling to know that we're gonna have a little baby girl and I think I'm in big, big trouble in the future. She's gonna have me wrapped around her finger!"

Turner's next assignment

Turner will now turn his attention back to club football where his club Arsenal is aiming for a first Premier League title since 2004.

The Gunners currently enjoy an 8-point lead over Manchester City, having played a game more.

For their next game, Arsenal face Leeds United as Turner comes up against three of his international teammates Brenden Aaronson, Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams.

Greenwood to marry pregnant partner

Sports Brief also reported on Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood expecting his first child with his partner.

Greenwood is reportedly set to tie the knot with his pregnant partner weeks after being cleared of assault charges.

The striker has relayed his wedding plans to his family members. The publication further reports that the couple was spotted at the fancy Langham Hotel in central London.
