The Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows FC transfer saga may yet have a new twist.

The two clubs were in the news recently when Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi claimed that there could be a story developing with regards to Dillon Solomons’ transfer to the Amakhosi.

Swallows CEO Sipho Xulu has now fueled more speculation by insisting that the Amakhosi’s new signings, Solomons, Kamohelo Mahlatsi and George Matlou, are still all contracted to the Dube Birds, The South African reported.

Kaizer Chiefs announced the trio as their new signings recently.

“According to my knowledge if you part ways with a player you issue him with a clearance, then you let him go. To my knowledge, all the players still belong to Swallows, until Swallows release their statement,” he explained.
“I’m not saying that’s the case though, but that’s what I know, Xulu added.

Xulu also would not be drawn for comment on Mnisi’s statement about Solomon’s transfer to Chiefs.

The Citizen recently reported that Swallows and Royal AM had an agreement in place for Solomons but they then accepted a bid from Chiefs before Shauwn Mkhize’s side could finalise their offer.

There could be trouble at Kaizer Chiefs if Sinky Mnisi is to be believed. The Royal AM CEO dropped a bombshell which got many tongues wagging and many football fans curious.

Mnisi was a guest on Sports Night Amplified and chatting with host Andile Ncube when he alluded to the fact that there could be more to the story with Kaizer Chiefs’ latest signing.

Mnisi mentioned that there could be a story unfolding and that people needed to watch this space. He added that due process needed to be followed with regard to the matter.

Dillon Solomons’ agent isn’t taking Sinky Mnisi’s claims lying down.

The Royal AM CEO set tongues wagging yesterday when he claimed that there could be more than meets the eye with regards to Dillon Solomons’ transfer to Kaizer Chiefs.

Solomons' agent Grant Nieuwenhuys claimed that there was nothing to be concerned about regarding the transfer.
