  • A preview of the upcoming Paul Pogba documentary shed some light on why the Frenchman left Manchester United
  • Pogba can be heard in the video terming United’s new offer “nothing” as he subtly claims the club were not willing to entice him with a better deal
  • The 29-year old is set to rejoin Juventus on a free transfer, six years after leaving the club

Footage has emerged of Paul Pogba calling a £300k-a-week offer from Mancheste United “Nothing” while cruising in his Rolls Royce in Miami.

The French midfielder has officially left Manchester United after his contract ran out, with reports indicating he has agreed on a return to Juventus, where he enjoyed a purple patch in his career.

This is the second time Pogba has been allowed to walk away from Old Trafford for free, having done so once again back in 2012 under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He is expected to announce his Juventus transfer on the same day the much-hyped documentary ‘Pogumentary’ is released.

A preview of the film, as seen by The Athletic, shows Pogba turning down a deal that was slightly higher than his previous £290,000-a-week wage with the Red Devils.

Whilst on the phone with the late Mino Raiola, Pogba is heard terming the new offer “nothing”

"Paul, you are in a situation which is very particular. You have no idea. You have no idea," Raiola then tells Pogba in a phone call believed to be from July last year.

Pogba then goes on to ask if Manchester United made an offer, and Raiola responds by saying:

Yes. They absolutely want you to stay. For me, the offer doesn’t reflect that. I told them, ‘If you want him to stay, don’t make that offer’. I will make them understand that if they really want you to stay and they want to build a project around you, this time they have to act differently and put the money on the table,"

The Frenchman, who is clearly not impressed by the supposed new contract, retorts by saying:

“They’re bluffing, How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing? Never seen that." he says.
