Dusan Vlahovic continues to make waves after his January transfer to Juventus from Fiorentina as the Serbian set a new Champions League record in his UEFA Champions League debut.

Vlahovic needed just 32 seconds to register his name on the scoresheet as Juventus were held to a 1-1 by Spanish side Villareal in the Round-of-16 first-leg tie.

According to a report via Daily Star, Dusan Vlahovic’s goal was the fastest scored by a debutant in the history of the UEFA Champions League.

The Serbian’s goal is just 22 seconds off the fastest goal scored in the history of the competition set in 2007. A record held by Roy Makaay after he scored in 10 seconds as Bayern Munich defeated Real Madrid 2-1.

Meanwhile, Dusan Vlahovic has caused a stir on social media after netting his first UEFA Champions League goal for Juventus.

Fans have hailed the Serbian’s prowess in front of goal after he took just 32 seconds to open his goal account in Europe’s most prestigious club competition.

Dusan Vlahovic joined Juventus in January €70million after the Old Lady beat Arsenal to the signature of the Serbian striker who has impressed in the Italian Serie A for Fiorentina.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Spanish club Villarreal will need to thank Dani Parejo who rescued a point for them in their Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash against Juventus.

The Italian side opened the scoring inside the first minute following a brilliant strike by Dusan Vlahovic.

But Dani Parejo sent the entire Estadio de la Cerámica into the wilds in the 66th when he grabbed one back to ensure they share the spoils as it ended 1-1.
