Back from recess, Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus opened the lead for the Black Stars in the 54th minute.

Two minutes later after Kudus’ strike, Afena-Gyan poked home from close range in the 56th minute to give the Black Stars a deserved cushion against the Barea at the Cape Coast Stadium.
