Former Ghana defender Hans Adu Sarpei says he is not ready to forgive unremorseful Luis Suarez for preventing the Black Stars from reaching the last four of the 2010 World Cup.

Hans Sarpei, a member of the Black Stars at the World Cup in South Africa, feels Uruguay cheated their way into the semi-finals after Suarez stopped a goal-bound effort with his hands and celebrated wildly as Asamoah Gyan missed the resulting penalty.

Ghana ended up losing to the South Americans on penalties 4-2 to miss out on becoming the first African country to reach the semis.

“I can't forgive him because it was not an accident," he said as quoted by footballghana.

“He knows what he has done. We were crying and you see someone who has cheated us is celebrating. How can I forgive him? Never. Never ever,."

Ghana have been paired with Uruguay in Group H of the World Cup in Qatar, and the Black Stars will be aiming for revenge.

However, the team will also face 2016 European champions Portugal and Asian giants South Korea in the same group.

The Black Stars remain one of three African countries to have reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup.
