Black Stars winger Osman Bukari was an unused substitute as Nantes recorded a thrilling 3-2 win against Clermont Foot in the Ligue 1 clash on Sunday afternoon.

Bukari has been on fine form for his French club this season, scoring one goal and creating three assists in 17 games in the French top division.

However, he was left out of their starting eleven by manager Antoine Kombouaré for their visit to the Stade Gabriel Montpied.

His Ghanaian compatriot Salis Abdul Samed was on target for Clemont Foot but that was not enough to hand them defeat.

Nantes took the lead through Ludovic Blas' penalty but that was canceled out in the 58th-minute, courtesy of a strike from Saîf-Eddine Khaoui.

The away team were in front again four minutes later after Pedro Chirivella restored Nantes' lead. Clemont Foot fought back to restore parity courtesy of a strike from Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed in the 63rd-minute.

But it was Nantes that had the final laugh as Randal Kolo Muani restored their lead in the 67th-minute.
