How did Anderlecht defeat KAS Eupen

Going into the second leg with a 2-2 draw, the Purple and Whites were quick off the block when defender Murillo broke the game's deadlock after just four minutes.

But the Brussels-based outfit's joy was short-lived when striker Prevljak found the equalizer five minutes after the game's opener.

With both sides evenly matched defender Magallan took matters into his own hands to restore the lead at the Lotto park in the 27th minute.

Ivorian Kouame put the game to bed with his strike immediately after recess as Anderlecht booked a spot in the finals of the Belgian Cup.

How did Ashimeru perform in the game?

Operating as the No.10 for the home side, Ashimeru was a constant threat to Eupen but could not crown his performance with a goal.

He was given rest with five minutes left on the clock.

Yes, Ashimeru was not the only Ghanaian on the field as compatriots Manaf Nurudeen was in between the sticks for the losing side as well as Isaac Nuhu played in defence for Eupen.
