McKennie names Ronaldo as his GOAT

The American didn't hesitate to name Ronaldo as the greatest of all time. He played with the Portuguese star at Juve in the 2020-21 season.

He saw first-hand the greatness of the football icon, with the pair helping the Bianconeri win the Coppa Italia title that campaign.

He shared his experience playing with Ronaldo in an interview with Heat, saying that he is the GOAT after seeing him up close.

Moise Kean echoed his teammate's sentiments, saying that Cristiano Ronaldo is the 'greatest of all-time'.

He also praised Messi, though, adding that the Argentine star is a different footballer and has ' a natural talent that was given to him by God'.

Kean pointed out that all of Ronaldo's achievements are because of his hard work, noting that CR7 was doing cryotherapy at three in the morning after a match to boost his recovery, per Goal.com.

McKennie and Kean's toughest opponents

The Juve pair also named the toughest opponents they have faced on a football field. McKennie named Thiago Alcantara, while Kean picked Liverpool defender, Virgil van Dijk.

McKennie has yet to score for Juventus this season. The 25-year-old midfielder did deliver seven assists for Juve in the 2023/24 Serie A season, per TransferMarkt.

Messi makes MLS history vs Red Bulls

Sports Brief recently reported on Messi making history in MLS in Inter Miami's 6-2 win in a recent league game.

He recorded the most goal contributions and assists in a single match in the tie against the New York Red Bulls.
