Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp and youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi have resumed pre-season with English outfit Crystal Palace ahead of the looming 2022-23 season.

The Ghanaian-born duo and their teammates took to the grass on Wednesday, June 29, as they prepare for the new season.

Several academy players, including Rak-Sakyi stepped up to join the senior side in training.

Rak-Sakyi was crowned last season with Crystal Palace's U23 team as the Player of the Season following an outstanding campaign in the Premier League II.

The 19-year-old English-born Ghanaian finished the season as joint top scorer with Manchester City's James McArtee, helping the Eagles place fifth.

Schlupp on the other hand played a significant role in Patrick Vieira's side last season having scored three times in the process. He has also registered two assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.

Rak-Sakyi set to switch international allegiance to play for Ghana

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace winger Jerusan Rak-Sakyi is ready to meet with the Ghana Football Association to discuss an international allegiance switch, it has emerged.

The 19-year-old was born in London to Ghanaian parents but has played three games for England U-20 team, scoring one goal.

He made his goalscoring debut for the U20s during a 6–1 victory over Romania U20s at St. George's Park.
