Bayern Munich's coach could be looking to change how his team is currently set up.

The Bavarian giants have failed to win in their last four games, and new signing Sadio Mané has also failed to find the back of the net in the past four games in the Bundesliga.

Mané started his new chapter in Germany in fantastic fashion, as he scored three goals in the league in his first three games. Since then, he's only scored twice more in all competitions.

Bavarian Football Works has now reported that Nagelsmann is considering changing Mané to operate as a winger and not a centre-forward.

Mané played the last two games, against Barcelona and Augsburg, on the left wing but failed to find the back of the net in either game.

Oddly enough, Manuel Neuer had more shots on target than Mané during the game against Augsburg. The keeper had an effort saved after trying to find an equaliser late in the game with a header from a corner.

Moving Mané out wide could be a permanent one, which would then see Bayern's attacking line-up forced to reshuffle.

Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sané have been deployed out wide thus far for Bayern. Thomas Müller and Jamal Musiala could also be pushed up further forward to lead the attack. It could also give more chances to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bayern's other striking option. Choupo-Moting struggled for regular game time with Lewandowski leading the line.

Mané enjoyed great success with Liverpool playing on the win but has been used as more of a centre-forward for Bayern. Ironically, all five of his goals for Bayern this season have come from him playing in the centre-forward role, Transfermarkt confirmed.

Bayern did not invest in a proper centre-forward following the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.

Liverpool legend says Sadio Mane is unhappy in Germany, slams Bayern Munich for the striker’s recent poor form

Sadio Mane is experiencing a mixed start to his Bayern Munich career as the Senegalese striker has failed to score in the last five games after betting in his first three games for the Bundesliga champions.

The former Liverpool forward was substituted in the 70th minute in Bayern Munich’s 2-0 victory against Barcelona after a poor display in the game for the German giants.

Former Liverpool and Bayern Munich midfielder Dietmar Hamann has now revealed Sadio Mane is currently unhappy as he is not being used in his best position by the Bavarians, Sports Brief earlier reported,
