Bayern Munich has been dealt a huge blow following their UEFA Champions League victory against Barcelona as Lucas Hernandez has been ruled out for several weeks.
The French defender picked up an adductor injury not too long after scoring the opening goal against the Catalans which forced him to limp off the pitch.
According to SB Nation, Bayern Munich has now confirmed Hernandez picked up an adductor injury and is set to be sidelined for a few weeks in a statement on Wednesday, September 14.

The 26-year-old defender is now expected to miss up to five or six weeks of action after having an MRI scan after the Champions League game on Tuesday night.
Hernandez’s injury will come as a huge loss for Bayern Munich, who are currently stuttering in the to defend their Bundesliga title with 3 successive draws in the league.
