Xavi wants more reinforcements at Barcelona

Meanwhile, Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez is not fully satisfied with the Catalans transfer business this summer and wants more additions before the transfer window closes Marca reports.

Barcelona has brought in 5 new players this summer including Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha but they were forced to a goalless draw in their first La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano.

Gerard Pique at loggerheads with Barcelona board

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona has hit a roadblock in their bid to convince club veteran, Gerard Pique to take a massive pay cut to help the Catalans register all its new players.

Pique is arguably angry at the Barcelona hierarchy after he was denied a business deal that could have seen his company purchase a percentage of Barcelona’s Barca studios.

Pique had an eye on buying the 24.5% stake in Barça Studios before the sale to Orpheus Media was finalized in the 4th economic lever for the Catalans.
